How can experiments be conducted following standard procedures while also ensuring randomization to prevent bias in the results of our hypotheses?

I’d love to hear explanations and share ideas from anyone on this topic. Is there a rule, or does the research hypothesis dictates what can be randomized and what should be standardized?
