there are two main conditions to be eligible to join the group project

1. finish lectures to lecture 6(including lecture 6) before the deadline April 29, 11.59 pm

2. get 65% or more as a score

to be qualified you have to meet both conditions not only one

Regarding the homework, I apologize I was almost near with just two quizzes left in week 6 before 28. I considered submitting them before their deadline this Friday. As, I was involved with college submission of multiple projects.

Does this homework affect my admission into the advanced level of labs? If so, can you please extend the deadline to tomorrow, please? as this is when quizzes of week 6 must end.

we canceled “closing quizzes after 14 days” and opened the previous quizzes to make it easier for the students to keep up with us and go through their personal obligations

Hello, I did not receive an email for acceptance into the group project, and this means that I was not accepted, and I want to draw your attention to something that made me feel unfair and I hope that it will be looked into if possible. Throughout the duration of the course, I adhered to all the necessary appointments and was not late for a lecture or quiz. to make me accepted to the end in the group project and then the advanced laboratory, until the sixth lecture, during which I had many, many tests at the university, and I knew that their end would be on Friday, 3/5/2024, and that my exams would end on 2/5/2024, and that I would submit. The sixth lecture was on that day, but when I attended the interactive session for team work lecture, I understood whether the sixth lecture should be delivered 4/29/2024, and I submitted it after the lecture on the basis of the doctor’s statement that the deadline could be extended if the system did not receive full grades, so I have tried and tried for this throughout these months, and if I do not accept just because of a lecture that I missed due to a misunderstanding and the dates of the exams of my university, knowing that my grades in the exams are up to the fifth lecture -(43.5 points from 50 points that’s mean (87٪)– and after I submitted the sixth lecture (52,5 points from 60 points ), thank you for completing this long message and I hope to look into this matter again. Because this topic does not only concern me, but rather concerns many of my colleagues in the laboratory, and the last question I want to know about: Does not being accepted into the group project prevent acceptance into the advanced laboratory? Or if I complete the rest of the lecture, can I apply for the advanced lab?

Regarding the criteria for acceptance into the group project, unfortunately, we’re unable to make changes based on the lab capacity. We do our best to ensure fairness and transparency for all students.

I understand your frustration about the deadline confusion surrounding the sixth lecture. We strive to communicate important updates clearly and in advance, such as the announcement about finishing Lecture 6 before June 30th.

Regarding the deadline extension mentioned by the doctor, it’s unfortunate if there was any misunderstanding. We aim to maintain consistency and fairness in our policies.

As for the group project’s weight in the final score, I understand your concern. We can’t make promises about acceptance into the advanced lab, as it depends on various factors including project performance.

However, regardless of group project participation, all students are required to complete all lectures and quizzes before the lab ends. This ensures everyone has the same opportunities moving forward.

My score up to the 6 lecture was more than 65%, and I received an email choosing the projects in which I could participate, and I actually chose one of them. But today I received an email whose content was:
“Remember, rejection does not define your worth or capabilities. It’s simply a redirection towards something better suited for you. Stay positive, keep your head held high, and trust that the right opportunities will come your way when the time is right.”

I was surprised and I asked, please, have I been rejected to participate in the project? What are the reasons? Is this a mistake or something else? And if it is something else, when will I participate with my group in working on the project and presenting it?

I know that it is a late question but I would love to know my actual score on the quizzes because I haven’t received an email but yet “The Group Project Assignment” Tab is available for me and shows the “Start” button. I am not sure if that’s an issue but generally I would love to know my score to improve my performance later in future versions of the lab.
Another question: Do participants who haven’t been selected to join the group project still acquire a certificate after the completion of the lab?
Sorry for the late questions but I have sent an email later this week and no-one answered.

There is a section called group project at the end of the lab course here on the LMS, it opened yesterday, and it asks to upload the group project here for everyone and I think this is a little bit different from your previous emailed instructions ” the group leader will submit the group project via a given link by the first of June”. Hence, shall I press “finish course” without submitting the project here in the LMS and follow your emailed instructions or what shall I do?

Whether you were chosen for the group project or not, you do not need to take any action as long as you have completed the quizzes.

Hello,
Does anyone know where or when would we start into the group project, as I haven’t received anything after the email informing me that I have been qualified to participate into the project. I have been trying to connect though e-mail and telegram but it was blocked or unapplicable. I kept checking the telegram channel as it was the only medium that I can use to follow up; yet there wasn’t any information regarding the situation.
I thought that the group project in the course indicated the time which the project would start.
Can anyone help?

Following up the last post, I checked the e-mail and found out that there was no e-mail sent which arises another inquiry, why haven’t I been selected to participate in the group project knowing that my quizzes grades were more than 80% at the time of 29th April then when the participants selection was processing and I believe this may be the same case for other fellows in the course.
I would greatly appreciate any help regarding this situation and thanks.
